At least, it is for me.
Not a fatal error, but strange. The counter at the top right frequently displays a number that is one higher than the actual number of unread topics. Refreshing does nothing, nor does logging out and logging back in. Weeee-urd.
Anyone else getting this?

And it definitely does not matter how you got to the last unread post – whether by clicking down the heirarchy or by clicking on the arrow in the "last post" column?
Is it that you can see no red quote bubbles from the Forum screen, but the counter still reads "1"?

1) Flanders logs in.
2) Flanders notices the little box in the top right telling him there are, say, five topics with unread posts.
3) Flanders clicks on that box.
4) Flanders is given a list of four topics with unread posts.
5) Flanders reads those unread posts.
6) Little box says there is one topic with unread posts.
7) Flanders clicks on the box.
8) Flanders is given a list with no unread posts on it.
9) Little box still says there is one topic with unread posts.
10) Little box is a liar.
11) Either that or there's a secret "No Flanders" thread.

Hey, in fact there is a non-moderator forum where we can post about bugs and stuff with the other moderators and there are some posts in there I created for testing purposes. but there are more than one, so I'm not sure the hidden forum would be screwing with your count by only one if that were the cause. Seem's like it would be off by the number of threads in the hidden forum.

Hrm… seems it may just be a bug.
I hadn't used that before, but it seems I have an extra count of 12 phantom threads. I'll log a bug report when I get a chance.
That aside, we will neither confirm, nor deny, the existence of a "No Flanders" thread ;P

The Simple:Press guys seem pretty helpful. First thing I did with moderately powers was find a bug, and they fixed it pretty quickly. :)

Btw, the unread count has been working for me. Nice feature when it does. It's a little easier than seeing the little unread icons.
