Neuroskeptic has an interesting but vague post on the neurobiology of conscious awareness: Unconscious High-Level Information Processing.

I wish neuro covered more details on what they actually did in this paper, so I followed up with a comment asking for more details.

I'm wondering if this has some similarities to the paper I noticed the other day (which maybe I should post about here in more detail, after I finish reading/absorbing it).

(this paper is another one of those closed behind a paywall articles. I wish the bio sciences people would get on the open access wagon)
