Offensive Squid

Today Peter, our mighty saint, announced that he was going to abandon us until October for the only mildly valid reason that he'd taken on a large secret work project. http://www.rifters.com/crawl/?p=1549

To make matters worse, he offered up Facebook as the means by which to continue periodic injections of nutrient rich squid ink. We, the squidlings, balked at this prospect, wailing and gnashing our teeth. Our giant squid overlord was indeed cruel.

Fearing the outcome and listening to the pleas of my fellow squids, I, hereafter known as "the prophet of no particular consequence" heard the words of our author and envisioned the creation of a forum… which I then built over a grueling 10 score and 40 minutes in testament to our faith. History may, or may not record that the Apostle Sheila came up with the name.

*Ahem* And so my fellow squidites, welcome and may the endless nattering begin.

P.S. You may or may not balk in equal to degree to my sense of humour.

Anyway, as requested in the comments I made sure that there are a variety of ways to login, including google/facebook/openid and a few others. Alternatively you can register with the forum and be stored as a local wordpress account. I'd ask that you check out the Introduction/Guidelines briefly and if you have any troubles getting set up, let me know. 

I'll be making improvements as I have the time to this thrown together base, so if you have any thoughts, let me know in the suggestion forum.
