Offensive Squid

Some of our friends are involved in The Gathering which is a big event with art and gaming and lectures in Norway in a big viking hall thing. Carl and I decided on sort of the spur of the moment to go. I linked to a video feed of previous years.

Carl will probably help with video, which he does for pycon, but these guys have way way more spiffy video and audio equipment. it will be interesting.

So, we will be in Norway, then some places in Germany to visit family, then probably London or Dublin. I have a friend who was a coworker who lives in London now. And there is some sort of spiffy looking conference about linux and audio near Dublin coming up.

Edit: doh, forgot to say–by which all I mean, if any of you in Europe find this interesting, hop on over and I will say hi. Or will get Carl to, since he is the outgoing one.
