Nope. Looks like the mean temp in Sydney in January is about 23 degrees C, so mid-seventies F. Doesn't look as if you will need a parka or anything.

No parka indeed.
It's nice to be able to visit the summer, though I will miss being able to go to the lake when we've had enough cold weather for dunes of ice to form up. My SOP is to walk around on it, against orders, and end up with a foot going through the ice in to a pocket of ice water.
