Btw, I'd much appreciate help with this.

Please refer me to someone who will help my parents write a rebuttal letter to a workmans comp denial letter

I have no freaken clue how to find someone to help my parents. They can't afford to hire anyone to help them. I don't have as much as I would normally since i bought a house last year and got married, but I'm in a much better position than they are.

Also, too bad they vote for people who fuck them over

Oh hells… Wish I had more to say or a means to help, but yeah, it pretty much comes down to needing a lawyer. Even up here there can be issues and insurnace companies, etc, will try and weasel out of things. I worked as an advocate a while back, never got involved in a case related to this, but I got informed in case it was ever necessary. There are so many little details, technicalities and loopholes that the risk of not getting a lawyer probably outweights the cost of one.

Good luck on it though, I hope it works out.

Thanks Echo (and H who PMd me).

I don't know if you read the thread, but I pretty much decided to tell my parents to get a lawyer, even if they don't want to sue. I would be happier with them having an expert to work with.

I'm not destitute, so I can pay for them to have some time with a lawyer (just not as much as I could have before buying a house and getting married last year).

seriously, man. I wish people took better care of people. My dad has worked there for decades.
