Maybe the cake is composed of tiles of cake attached to a scaffold? I wish people posted more curious comments than merely "like". Check out the human sized cake. maybe later I can search the net for a video of her working on a sculpture.

tiles of cake attached to a scaffold can't entirely be it. or maybe fondont is touch enough to hold cake on a scaffold even when the cake is completely suspended?

tempted to experiment.

was wondering if spikes perforated the cake through the scaffolding, but that would probably weaken the cake material too much?

is anyone here a baker?

oh hahaha. I wasn't sure I'd be able to find an example in her stream of a cake sphere, which then calls to mind the "assume a frictionless spherical cow".
